100Gb/s DP-QPSK Modulator

The LX8240 is a small form factor, high bandwidth, thin film polymer on silicon (TFPS™) modulator for long-haul and ultra-long-haul 100G coherent optical transponders. The LX8240 has four GPPO connectors to interface with drivers for small form factor 100G DP-QSPK 300 pin transponders.

The LX8240 includes essential features, such as high temperature operation and reliability, high frequency GPPO connectors, excellent optical performance, electrical signal accessible from one side and integrated polarization rotator, and photodiode monitors to monitor each of the embedded QPSK MZMs.
